As part of all Hyper Island programs, students do an internship with a company of their choice.

Hyper Island internships are about learning and growth. The aim is to enable students to apply the experience, skills and knowledge they have developed in the first phase of their program. Meanwhile, the internship is an opportunity for students to develop new skills by participating in real projects and productions.

Hyper Island is contacted often by companies worldwide who want our students as interns. Since students find their own internships, Hyper Island cannot guarantee interns to any company. Instead, we provide tools for companies to connect with students and for those students to get to know companies. This is our win-win way to make connections, cultivate relationships, and enable the best matches for both students and the companies that hire them.

How to recruit Hyper Island Students

There are many ways to connect with Hyper Island students to make them aware of internship opportunities. Here's what we recommend if you are interested in enticing a Hyper Island intern.

Future Talent Database
Future Talent is an online database where companies can post their opportunities. You are invited to create a profile including company information, video content and details about what kind of people you are seeking. The database is a first stop for students considering their options. Post opportunities in the database.

Hyper Island's Social Media
Obvious as they may be, Facebook and Twitter are great ways to reach Hyper Island students. Feel free to post internship opportunities on our Facebook page or tweet with the hashtag #hyperisland. You'll reach many current students as well as many others in the Hyper Island network.

Come Lecture or Lead
There is also the possibility to come be part of one of our programs as a lecturer or workshop leader. If you're interested in this option, the trick is to find the right match - we need to figure out which program and which learning module you best fit into.

Student Profiles
If you would like to get to know students and their work a bit more individually, you can also browse the student directory, where many have included their personal websites or portfolios. Hyper Island will not recommend individual students to companies, but companies may contact students directly.
